ATTENTION - BAY LAUREL CENTER CDD
- All Water Treatment Plants and Wastewater Treatment Plants have emergency generators that will continue to maintain the necessary electricity to continue providing Drinking Water to our residents and the required treatment of the Wastewater. Additionally, the District has emergency generators onsite or available for all residential wastewater pumping stations (Lift Stations) located within On Top of the World & Stone Creek Communities. The community will continue to have running water unless we experience an unexpected equipment failure.
- Conserve Water! Do not wash driveways of debris. If the power is out and you still have water pressure, it is only because the Water Treatment Plants are running on auxiliary power and with a limited supply of fuel.
- If at any time water pressure is lost and then comes back during the storm, assume the water is unsafe. If this occurs, we advise that all water that is used for cooking or drinking should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute in order to ensure the water is bacteriologically safe. Please continue this practice until you are notified by Bay Laurel Center Community Development District that the water is safe.
